Having decided to buy an electric bike after the last year of successful CorrosionX in-roads into Australia I did the first thing any normal person would do...I put 44 kilometres on it on the first day then 20 on the next day...but the third day it rained....so again claiming the normal status I decided to treat the bike to prevent any rust. The bike is a Haibike Xduro Hardseven RC...it has a range of a couple hundred kilometres judging on how I am riding it...using the power for hills and using the legs for the flat....I guess what I am leading to is that it isn't an inexpensive bike so to protect my asset...I have treated it with CorrosionX. I grabbed a bottle of CorrosionX Red/Marine. I used a trigger bottle and put a little in the bottom of a two minute noodle cup. Then with a cotton bud I dabbed all the hex nuts...some of those hex nuts are like little cups ready to hold the rainwater. Below are a few photos from my day....It took me about a half hour and about 30 cents worth of product.
